Services

  • Online Licensed professional counselor for anyone in MO utilizing researched based trauma therapies and human connection to address mental health needs. Specialized and experienced in trauma recovery and addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, addiction, divorce, ptsd, and suicidal thoughts.

As a certified first responder counselor, I understand the unique barriers and needs of the frontline culture. Your vulnerability will be met with compassion, not judgement or shame. I also value the work and time it takes to attend to yourself. I became trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy so that we can heal quicker, adapt faster, and be equipped for the next call.

I am out of network with insurance companies. If your policy has any out of network benefits, I am able to provide you with the proper documentation for you to submit for direct reimbursement.

  • Offering mental Health check ins for first responders that are confidential wellness visits to discuss stress management, resources, and balance. These are not assessments or fit for duty evaluations. The focus is prevention, reducing stigma, and connecting responders to a trained professional.

Trained in critical incident stress management, I am able to provide individual debriefings after trauma exposure within a short time frame to reduce risk of post traumatic stress disorder from unprocessed experiences. I also work alongside peer support teams as a mental health professional in group debriefings.

Advisory meetings are also available to identify department or agency mental wellness gaps and collaborate to develop and design programs unique to your team. I would love to chat with you and see how we can bridge these gaps together.

  • Confronting the lies and stigmas surrounding mental health and bringing hope that life can have purpose again is essential and necessary for all humans. Years in the therapist’s chair has taught me a few things about what makes us feel broken and not able to pick ourselves up sometimes. I also learned that most of us can relate to that feeling. So why aren’t we talking about it?

Open and real conversations about mental wellness, especially in frontline work, is happening! I have had the privilege of being able to speak at panel discussions, first responder wellness conferences, swat team trainings, student responders, even churches and community partners.

These presentations have been transformative and changing local communities. Let’s work together to design a training for your team or agency.
